The Last Tribe (6 episodes, ongoing)
Liam visited some of the last indigenous tribes on the planet who still retain a traditional lifestyle, living with them for up to a month at a time. While living with the Mentawai tribe of Indonesia, Liam went hunting for monkeys, fishing with the local women, and was lucky enough to be there during a rare ceremony, where two girls became “possessed by evil spirits”.
A Love for Adventure (10 episodes, 2012)
This series, filmed in Hainan and Yunnan, followed Liam in his search for the last remaining masters of survival in the wild. He spent time with hunters of wild honey, the Li people of the Hainan jungle and compression divers, who practice one of the deadliest jobs on the planet. This series won an Outstanding Television Show award at the 2012 Chinese National Television Awards.
Learning Kung Fu (10 episodes, 2012)
In this series Liam travelled through the Chinese provinces of Hebei and Sichuan to learn several forms of Kung Fu from renowned masters. The Chinese term “Kung Fu” refers not simply to martial arts, but to any skill which requires vast amounts of effort and skill to complete. Liam spent several days in each location, learning a variety of skills from traditional martial arts to ancient magic tricks, illusion, acrobatics, and cooking!
Home to Switzerland (6 episodes, 2011)
In the most successful series of 2011 Liam brought the Travel Channel China team back to his home in Switzerland for two weeks of filming. The resulting six episodes broke numerous records on television and on the internet, with a single episode garnering more than 1.5 million views online within a week.
